Jacques Rousseau lectures critical thinking and ethics in the School of Management Studies at the University of Cape Town, and is the founder and Chairman of the Free Society Institute, a South African non-governmental organisation dedicated to defending free speech and the secular viewpoint against threats presented by religion, bad science and other forms of irrationality.

He writes occasional columns for various publications, and you can find these and other bits of writing (plus interviews, etc.) on his blog, Synapses.
